"Amazing fish and chips! Found RJ’s based on a Google search and quick scan of positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and made sure to check our order to ensure everything was prepared to our preferences. The Red Emperor was cooked to perfection and delicious (and decent sized fillets too. The calamari rings were expertly cooked (not like some other places that overcook it which turns it rubbery). This was probably the best calamari we’ve ever had. The pineapple fritters were also great and the $10 serving of chips was super generous. Lastly our cheeseburger was awesome and a decent size too. Overall an excellent take-away experience. Would definitely recommend you check out RJ’s if you are in the area. edit: the photo of the chips was AFTER we had fed four adults. There were heaps of chips. Very generous serving size."

"Ordered Battered Red Emporer, Chips and Calimari. Asked for extra salt and lemon no problem. Cooked in clean oil and to perfection . Look forward to sampling the menus next time in town."

"LOVE RJ’s! Been several times and each time it’s been tasty, fresh and good value. Got the Burger with the Lot ($13) today, which was saucy and very delicious. It usually comes with pineapple but I got it without. Glad I didn’t get chips to accompany as it was massive! I usually get their fish and chips which are great, pretty sure they batter their own fish as instead of the heavily battered, oil drenched fish at other joints, RJ’s fish batter is light, crispy and not oily at all. Their chips are crunchy with the perfect amount of salt. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great potato scallops. We find the single fish n chips packs are large enough to share between two, with a few scallops on the side. Battered fish is nice and chips are served with generous dusting of chicken salt. Well priced. Nice out look and sea breeze. Easily fave fish n chips in the bay."
